Elisabeth “Lisa” Benavidez

Oro Valley, AZ

Lisa graduated from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona in May, 2001, and she has been practicing in the area of family law since 2002.  She is a regular participant in family law clinics through Step Up to Justice and through the Pima County Bar Association.  She is appointed as both an arbitrator for civil cases and a judge pro tem for family law settlement conferences at the Pima County Superior Court.  She often serves as a mediator in family law matters and is committed to helping people work through difficult life transitions with respect and caring.

Outside of the office, Lisa keeps busy with her own family.  While her daughters are both adults and largely independent in their jobs and college pursuits, her son is still in high school.  He and the family's goldendoodle keep everyone on their toes.  Lisa enjoys jogging, hiking, cooking, and attends weekly Swedish classes to keep in touch with her heritage.
