Biography:

Christopher R. Blevins is an associate concentrating his practice in the areas of civil litigation, domestic relations, real estate and municipal and government matters.  Chris joined the Benavidez Law Group, P.C., as a Law Clerk during his second year of law school in March of 2006.  Here, Chris has provided our clients with diligent and meticulous work in nearly all of the firm’s practice areas including civil litigation, criminal litigation, real estate, contracts, employment, domestic relations and municipal and government matters.   

Prior to joining the Benavidez Law Group, P.C., Chris was a law clerk for the Yuma County Legal Defender’s Office where he assisted in trials and the general representation of criminal defendants in Yuma County.  He also clerked for Judge Jacqueline Marshall of the United States District Court of Arizona drafting memorandums and assisting the court with pre-trial hearings.  While in law school, Chris actively participated in the Volunteer Lawyers Program - Domestic Relations Clinic where he assisted clients of the program through the process of divorce.  He also honed his trial skills in the Trial Advocacy Program and served on the Legal Writing Advisory Counsel. 

Chris is a native of Tustin, California and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2003 with a B.A. in Law and Society and a B.A. in Global Studies.  When he is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and their dog, Gizmo.
